Our current Bible Study is the book of Proverbs

We meet in-person at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary of the church and online as a livestream on our Facebook page.

We will begin a special Advent Bible study in partnership with Christ Episcopal and Pastor Sallie Schisler on Dec. 2 at 6:30pm.

Almost Christmas: A Wesleyan Advent Experience is an Advent series that explores how we can make a wholehearted commitment to Christ, connecting to our Wesleyan heritage with the traditional Advent themes of Love, Hope, Joy, and Peace.

Each study will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.  You will need a book for the study.  They are available at popular online book retailers.  Click here to order it on Amazon.

Because this study will only be available on Zoom, Pastor Sam needs your email address to send you the link for the study.  Please message him with that information.

All of our Sunday School classes have resumed in-person for those that would like to attend.  Masks and social distancing are in place for your protection.

The Roots Sunday School is in-person and also virtual via Facebook Rooms.  If you'd like to be added to our virtual attendance, let us know by sending a message to Pastor Sam.

Our Men's Saturday morning Bible study has resumed in-person meeting at 10 am for those that would like attend.  Masks and social distancing are in place for your protection.

Our annual Shoebox Ministry has begun!

If you’d like to help us meet our goal of 80+ shoe boxes, grab a box or donate to have someone do a box for you.

Make your check out to First United Methodist Church and put Christmas Shoeboxes in the memo line.  If you have any questions, contact Amy Payne of Judy Barber.  Bring your boxes back by November 15th.  Start now and let’s shatter that goal of 80!
